First Lady Stephanie Wright

Lady Stephanie Wright, the former Stephanie A. Simmons, was raised by her loving parents, Valerie and Joseph Simmons, along with her two brothers, in Scranton, PA.

Stephanie gave her life to Christ at the age of 14 and met her husband, Reverend Nathaniel Wright, at the age of 15. They became husband and wife on April 26, 2003, and received a precious gift, their son, Malachi Nathaniel Wright, on September 24, 2008.

Lady Wright is committed to providing a warm and loving environment for her family and is always mindful of the fact that they are knitted together to further the liberating Gospel of Jesus Christ. Stephanie takes great joy in supporting her husband and working with him in ministry.

In addition to her continuing service at Calvary, Lady Wright is also a biblical teacher, personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and weight management and nutrition educator. Because she believes that the health of the mind, spirit, and body are all connected, our First Lady is most passionate about revealing the links between The Bible and the bodies of believers. Her love for God and her passion for fitness have resulted in the composition of her newly released book, God Strength.

Lady Wright’s book highlights the necessity of, and the connection between, strong minds, strong spirits, and strong bodies. Additionally, the book underscores Stephanie’s personal goal to holistically (in mind, spirit, and body) embody the words of 1 Corinthians 9:26-27 which says, “So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified”.
